~50' on Daylight Spool - Kodak 3383 8mm - Double 8mm PRINT FILM

Description: This auction is for one PARTIAL roll 3383 Double 8mm print film on 100' daylight spool. The lab that spooled it indicates that the spool contains ABOUT 50'. This is print film. You use it in a lab to make a positive print from a negative. Any lab with a 16mm printer should be able to print UNSLIT 8mm negatives using this film. For instance, Fotokem made a couple prints for me in 2017. The film features high resolution and great color. It was manufactured by Kodak, perforated by Wittner Cinetec and spooled & packaged by Spectra. It has been stored at -10F since new. This film can be used as a camera film. It is very slow and it will produce odd colors. Some people have posted sample films on YouTube and Cinematography website. Also, please note that it has an Estar base rather than Acetate. If your camera jams, it's possible that the perfs won't tear and you'll damage your claw. I've never heard of that happening to anyone, but people online seem to enjoy cautioning one another about that potential outcome of using Estar-based stocks in a camera. Double 8mm film is for use in 8mm cameras that use spools, not cartridges. This is not Super 8 film. This can be processed and scanned by labs that print film including (I believe) Colorlab, BBoptics, Andec (in Europe), and Fotokem. Please DO NOT BUY THIS unless you have a working camera that you have tested, and you know what you're doing. This will not work in old cameras which haven't been used for a long time.
