2009 D Washington District Of Columbia Quarter Error Doubled Die WDDO-001

Up for your consideration for sale or bid is an error coin I reported and submitted to John Wexler and Billy Crawford. It is the only other District of Columbia Doubled Die found from the Denver mint besides “The Big Boy” as John Wexler referred to being the WDDR-001. This coin being offered here has doubling near the ear of George Washington. There have been far fewer doubled die obverses (DDO’s) discovered than doubled die reverses (DDR’s)!
