Description: 2 Issues of L'Equipe the French newspaper devoted to Sport both of which feature coverage of the 2006 Tour de France and which are as per the scans / as follows: Friday 21st July 2006 ' La Chevauchee Fantastique ', the cover features Floyd Landis as shown and then inside there are 6 pages of coverage from the Race which was getting close to the finish. Sunday 6th August 2006, this was a week or two after the Tour had finished and as shown inside there is a feature on Floyd Landis who had won the Race but was then disqualified for Doping related reasons. ALL CONTENT IS IN FRENCH Both papers have a sticker to the front indicating they were sold in the UK, they are folded horizontally from new and then with an additional vertical fold which is a bit off centre, some exposed edges are a little tanned and ragged as a result and there are some occasional other areas with tanning but otherwise they are intact and in generally very good condition.
