Description: Handsome fold-out 1973 road map of Arizona, printed more than 47 years ago. The map opens to 18" x 26½" and has good detail on old highway alignments, including Route 66, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There are inset plans of Grand Canyon National Park, Phoenix, Tucson, and Lake Mead. The map was distributed by the Western Division of the Chevron Oil Company and is dated 1973 in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 8-UU. The front cover shows a Chevron gas pump labeled "F-310" — the company's trademark for its polybutene amine gasoline additive. Condition: This map is in very good condition, bright and clean, with no marks, rips, or tears. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. Buy with confidence!
