Description: This is a rebuilt tail lamp assembly for a 1940 Pontiac. This lamp has been totally rebuilt, including new socket/wiring/12 volt #1157 bulb. Housing has been stripped and polished, buyer to paint color of choice. This listing is for the "short" lamp only (first 4 photos above), you will receive one (1) lamp only!!!!! NOTE: There are two different lengths of housings, the shorter is 4" deep (see 2nd. photo above), and it has number 5930142B cast into the interior of the housing. The longer is 4 1/2" deep (see 6th. photo above), and it has number 924574K cast into the interior of the housing. Last 4 photos above show the differences in length. I know the 2 door coupes all use the longer housing, but I've seen both the shorter and longer housings on the 4 door sedans ???.
