Description: As found, as shown in the photographs. It has minor surface cracking from handling and a small afea of discoloration below the stars. It was postmarked 7-30-1934 to someone in Amesbury MA. It has a 1933 Chicago Century of Progress green 1 cent stamp, cancelled at Province Lake which is near Effingham NH on the Maine border. The photo features 2 gas pumps on the side for Socony at 19 cents a gallon, and Socony Ethyl for 17 on an island behind a Hood’s Ice Cream sign. In the store are 2 woman behind the counter with an Old Gold Cigarettes sign visible in the back. There is also a man sitting in the woods off the right end of the store. It’s a great card with perfect provenance.
